Allergens

Allergen information will be provided with all food products. We make every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies and will try to provide allergy free alternatives when requested, or advise if this is not possible to do so. However, there is always a risk of cross contamination as our products are prepared in a kitchen where allergens are present, therefore we cannot guarantee that any of our food products are completely allergen free.

 

Food Catering

Many of our buffet & canapé items are cooked, cooled and then refrigerated before being served. The food standards agency advises that food can be safely consumed within 4 hours of leaving the refrigerator. If food is left out and being served after this time, we cannot guarantee that it will still be safe to consume. We therefore recommend disposing of the food after 4 hours. We will provide the time that the food left our refrigerators on delivery or collection.

 

Deposits, Alterations and Cancellations

A 25% deposit is required for each booking. All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits must be paid on booking to secure your date. Your order is not confirmed until your deposit has been paid and an order confirmation form sent to you. If your deposit is not paid within 24hrs your date will become available again to others. Payment can be made via bank transfer. The details will be given at the time of your order.  

 

If you have any alterations/requests to change the order, please advise of this no later than 3 weeks before your delivery/collection date. This allows us enough time to order in specialised items or stock for your order.

 

For any cancellations please let us know at least 2 weeks or more before your delivery/collection date as this will allow us enough time to allocate your booking slot to another customer. Deposits cannot be transferred to another date in the future.

 

Collection and delivery

Delivery for cakes and sweet treats can be arranged, if we have availability. In busy periods, this cannot always be guaranteed so collection will be offered. All buffets can be delivered and the availability of this will be ensured, when the date is booked.  Free delivery is offered within 3 miles of MK45 2SN. Any distance greater than this might be subject to a charge.

For collections, please collect your order from our premises at the agreed, allocated time and date. If you arrive before the agreed time your order may not be ready for collection. Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be late for collection as there may not be times where we can accommodate a later collection.

Please check your order on collection/delivery to make sure you are happy with the finished result as once it has left our premises or it has been left at the venue, the responsibility is then transferred to yourself.

Where possible, we recommend that decorated cakes should be transported on a flat surface preferably in an empty boot of a car with a non-slip mat/surface underneath. It is not advised to transport your items on a car seat or on a person's lap/knee as this is not a level surface and may cause damage to your items.

 

Complaints

If you have any concerns about your order, please notify us on delivery/collection so that we have the opportunity to rectify it in time for your event.

If you are dissatisfied in any way please contact us in writing no later than 24hrs after your event date. If contacted later than this then no refunds can be given.

In order to fairly assess the nature of the complaint, a large portion of the item in question (half or more) will have to be returned within 24hrs of the event date plus any photographic evidence.

Full refunds cannot be given for items that have been partially consumed, regardless of dispute, as consumption of the food is acceptance that it is adequate for the purpose for which it has been supplied.

For a full refund the entire food item must be returned within 24hrs of your event date.

Photographs alone will not be enough evidence and will not be suitable to access the complaint and will not be accepted and no refunds given on this basis. Any complaint will be assessed carefully and a refund is given at my discretion. The maximum refund at any time will be the cost of the bake/cake. No further compensation will be offered.

 

Photographs/videos:

I reserve the right to photograph and video your food items before collection for my own reference. I will not post any photos or videos on social media until after your event.
